St. Moritz

From shopping to nightlife in St. Moritz

Shopping

Shopping with charm

Via Serlas is considered to be the highest shopping street in Europe—small but nice, and with international brands like in the world’s major cities.

Right next door, you will find delicatessens, local wines, charming boutiques, and shops for your everyday needs. During peak season, many shops are even open on Sundays—perfect for strolling and browsing.

Nightlife

Atmospheric nights in the Engadin

When the day on the slopes ends, life in the village center begins. People meet at the Roo Bar for mulled wine or champagne. Later, many are drawn to the Stübli at the Hotel Schweizerhof or to MURÜTSCH, where people dance and celebrate.

The Sunny Bar at the Kulm Hotel, the exclusive Dracula Club at the bobsleigh track, and the King’s Social House at the Palace Hotel are all cult venues. The world’s largest whisky bar at the Hotel Waldhaus is also one of the nightlife highlights.

Highlights

The highlights of St. Moritz

It all began in 1864 with Johannes Badrutt, who promised his British guests sunshine in the Engadin winter – and thus invented winter tourism. Today, St. Moritz is a year-round destination for visitors from all over the world. Here, nature, sunshine, and culture come together: from the White Turf horse races on the frozen lake to excellent restaurants and renowned galleries and museums.
